Visitors are welcomed for a visit of the estate (french or english tour).
And during summer, the Domaine Dupont team invites you to a series of activities that allow you to discover the estate, the products and the elaboration secrets in a friendly setting.
Domaine Dupont visits - no reservation necessary:
Tour of the orchards, press, cider fermentation cellar, distillery
and aging cellars with tasting of 1 cider, 1 pommeau, 1 calvados.
Time: 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. in english & french.
May & June: Tuesday to Friday
July & August: Monday to Saturday
September: Tuesday to Friday (no visits on September 5 & 6, 2024)
excluding public holidays.
+ School holidays: Tuesday to Friday, at 11.00 a.m. in french & english.

All year long, on reservation only
- STANDARD TOUR: Approximately 1 hour time for a visit to the orchards, distillery and cellars, tasting of our products and purchasing.
Tariff: 70 € (1-10 pers), 7 € per person (10+).
- EXTENDED TOUR: Approximately 1.30 hour time for a tour starting in the orchards and press, then a visit the distillery and winery, the tasting of our products and purchasing.
Tariff: 150 € (1-10 pers), 15 € per person (10+).
- TOUR & SPECIAL TASTING: Approximately 1.30 hour time for the Extended Tour - orchards, press, distillery and winery. Tasting of our products with local delicatessen, cheeses and pastries. Food matching commented by our sommelier.
Tariff: 180 € (1-10 pers), 18 € per person (10+).
- PROFESSIONAL VISIT: one of the key persons of the estate - with the required technical skills - shares with you methods and know-how on specific topic - such as varieties selection and harvesting, or brewing and fermentation, or distillation and aging.
Tariff: 250 € /hour VAT incl. - individuals.
- COCKTAIL WORKSHOP: workshop led by a professional bartender. He will introduce you to the art of creating Calvados and Cider cocktails.

Domaine Dupont Tasty Tour
The Tasty Tour is a public tour of our estate, with the presence of a guide who will introduce you to the methods of making cider and calvados, our orchard, our distillery and our aging cellar.
After this visit, we invite you to enjoy the place with a delicious hot dish from the Ty Gibus restaurant in Caen. You will also have the opportunity to taste our ciders, our pommeau and our calvados.
Dates:
Monday through Saturday in July and August.
Tuesday through Friday in May, June & September.
Begins at 11.00 am, ends at 1.30 pm.

Tariffs:
- Hot Dish option 42.50 € per person = a dish (choice: tripe à la mode de Caen, Vallée d'Auge chicken, fish or vegetarian dish) with one glass of cider or apple juice, and dessert. The hot dish is prepared by chef Olivier Briand from Le Gibus restaurant in Caen.

The Biodiversity in our orchards :
For many years, Domaine Dupont has carefully watched over its orchards and, after three years of conversion, the estate is finally in organic farming.
You will explore the biodiversity offered by the hedgerows that surround our orchards and shape the landscape of the Pays d'Auge. A fun quiz on the ecological cycle of the orchard will help you to visit. A bottle of apple juice for the winner.

"La Guinguette" at the estate :
Domaine Dupont welcomes you in a charming and rustic setting. In its garden, you will enjoy a night out with an elegant accordionist.
La Ferme d'Argentel will be there to offer you a barbecue of a delicious Bayeux pig.

Musical aperitifs :
Domaine Dupont welcomes you in its haven of peace at the heart of the cider route. A friendly musical atmosphere will be created by pianists or guitarists who will enjoy playing by your side.
Includes a guided tour of the estate, a board of products with a glass of cider, and the concert.

Apple Harvesting animation:
The Apple Harvesting animation is a specialized visit on the theme of harvesting cider apples.
You will visit our orchards and our press. During the visit, you will participate in the harvest of different varieties of cider apples in order to leave with your own juice!
The visit will end with a tasting of our ciders, apple juice and calvados.
2024 Dates: Wednesday 23 October, Thursday 24 October, Friday 25 October & Saturday 26 October at 3:00 pm.

The Christmas market - distillation & Christmas tales:
What could be better than a market of local producers and artisans to prepare Christmas gifts?
While the adults will unlock the secrets of calvados distillation, the children will set up the Christmas tree.
To end the afternoon, it's hot cider or apple juice for everyone! Christmas tree decoration and Christmas tales at 3:00 p.m.

Marché des Saveurs at Domaine Dupont :
Le Marché des saveurs is Domaine Dupont open day: the estate may be visited with a guide, all day long. You will be able to meet local producers (honey, teas, cookies, meats, fruits and vegetables, flowers and plants) and discover food and cider matching. You will also have the opportunity to have a lunch on site with chef Olivier Briand of the restaurant Le Gibus in Caen, who will propose tasty recipes.

Calvados Distillation activity:
The Calvados Distillation activity will let you discover all the secrets of Calvados, from its production in our distillery to its aging in our cellars.
The visit will continue with a tasting of our ciders, pommeau and calvados.
You will depart with your own-blended Calvados (35 Cl bottle).
Dates: Saturday November 2 & 9, 2024 - at 3:00 pm.

Easter in the orchard:
Easter in the Orchard is an activity for the entire family.
The children will answer a quiz on the apple and then go to the
egg hunt in our organic orchard.
Once the hunt is over, they will collect their little surprise and
will be able to taste our flat and sparkling apple juice.
For adults, a tasting of our products is included
with a particular focus on the calvados-chocolate marriage.

Heritage Days:
On the occasion of the heritage days, the estate will make you discover the natural heritage of the region as well as its know-how present for five generations.
Accompanied by a guide, the visit will begin with the discovery of the orchards, the press and the fermentation cellars. During the visit, we will share with you new anecdotes and we will explain the particularity of an old farm in the Pays d'Auge.
The visit will continue with the distillery and the Calvados aging cellars, then will be followed by a tasting of our products.
